About the Jefferson County
Marine Resources Committee
•The
Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee (MRC) is an advisory group
to the Board of County Commissioners and
operates under the umbrella of the
Northwest Straits Commission. The MRC
members
are citizen volunteers who are committed to work closely with other community
members - homeowners, business owners,
recreational enthusiasts, commercial and sport fishers - to reduce or stop
the decline of the marine habitat in our ecologically rich corner of the
world.
Members gather after meeting June 4, 2007; (from left front) Judy Surber, Phil Johnson, Hal Beattie, Pat Pearson; (second row) Caroline Gibson, Anne Murphy, Tod Wakefield, Joth Davis; (third row) John Cambalik, Larry Crocket, Andy Palmer, Bill Miller, Steve Lewis, and Michael Adams.
